In moments past I loved you

In the next I despised you

Now I just tolerate you

Soon after that

I'll know that I can't live without you

Is it really you?

Or just the stories playing in my head?

You probably haven't changed that much

But that’s not how it feels to me

In every moment I'm convinced

That I know the truth about you

Explains why I feel like I do

Is it really you?

Or just the stories playing in my head?

Do I know you?

Can I really know you?

Or do I just have to make do

With all my made-up stories

All playing out, right here in my head?
