Standing on the shoulder of Giants

Never before seen perspectives coming into view

Insights once obscured now exposed

Seeing further than ever before

Standing on the shoulder of Giants

Felt more capable than I ever could

That which I feared lost its power over me

Seeing it for the imposter that it was

Standing on the shoulder of Giants

Grateful that they would let me

As I perused endless possibilities

Filled with hope of a better tomorrow

Standing on the shoulder of Giants

I got help and persevered

Gained courage and found my feet

To stand taller than ever

Standing on the shoulder of Giants

Was the next up-coming generation

That shoulder was mine

For all humanity to stand taller

So none has to start from scratch
