I Can Adapt

I can adapt to changing situations

Because I have not made my mind up

What they should be

I am free to see what comes to me

Hear what wisdom it has to give

I sit and listen while it teaches me

What the Universe seeks to unfold

Then I wonder what next to do

That I get from the universe too

So at no point do I tell it

How it should be

I let it speak and take the lead

In that moment I am wide open

Not presumptuous about what I am to be doing

Once that is clear, I take the next step

All in wonder and amazement at what comes next

Trusting with every turn of events

What the Universe will serve up

Must be that I have learned to trust
