You’ve travelled near

You’ve travelled far

You’ve travelled here

You’ve travelled there

You’ve pretty much travelled everywhere

You still haven’t found what you are looking for

The Utopia at the end of that Galactic rainbow

In anticipation of the great climax

Reserved for the place called “there”

Perchance you may have missed

The land of travel itself

Each interaction a journey

Each new culture a revelation

Exploring differences as sameness

Experiencing the joy of serendipity

As the universe surprises you

In ways only it can do

Every day created anew to experience

When next asked where you need to get to

You can answer, “I don’t very much care”

I’m in the greatest destination of all
