Only Discoveries

Only Discoveries

By Frank Bolaji Irawo

Striving to get it right

How can it be wrong?

It is yet to be done

My voice, my way

Of all that yearns

To be birth of me

Beauty so fair

Full of concern

What will they say

Is there much point

In doing it this way?

With expert voices

Ringing in the air

We don't recognise

What you have here

As fear constricts

My creative womb

Contractions delayed

By crippling doubt

Dare I fail in this pursuit

Will I bear the shame

Of not being up there

Birthing the child

Imagination conceived

Created to innovate

Once form is revealed

There are no failures

Only Discoveries

Of what the universe

Intended to share
