I feared the shadow

Of the ominous deed

Stalking my thoughts

For days on end

Evading the light

Of what could be

In elusiveness

Its powers grew

Finally for a dare

It I did Confront

By its spell

I was no longer bound

Having no where

Else to hide

Powered by the courage

From the Deed now done
