The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

Good things come out of situations that look ugly

We see the ugly and call it bad

But if we look more carefully

We can see right through the ugliness

To the good that it obscures

As long as the universe has our back

Everything we face has a lesson to teach

Even if it wears an ugly mask

That does not make it bad

We no longer see the bad in the ugly

But the good that lies therein
