Running from that pain inside

Denying, numbing, and avoiding

It has nowhere to go trapped inside

Resistance futile, persistence the only gain

So many elaborate schemes

Like a bad smell, It just won't go away

Its voice silenced, not acknowledged

Lacking space to express it call

Can't run from it

The only way is through it

It will finally pass once it is done

The place where peace and freedom are found
