World Changers

World Changers

By Frank Bolaji Irawo

I changed the world

In truth, I had no choice

As egg and sperm contrived

To seal my fate

How can it remain the same?

I changed the world

In truth does it really matter?

For whatever course I take

Be it for better or worse

How can it remain the same?

I changed the world

In truth, I did try not to

My energy I could not contain

Reaching, touching, transforming

How can it remain the same?

I changed the world

In truth, I can choose

Showing up fully

Embracing all there is

How can it remain the same?

I changed the world

In truth we all do

We the veil of flesh no longer bearing

Now at large in stories being told

How it was forever changing
